Because together we can make a positive contribution.

Absolutely in every profession and in every private act, you can decide whether you want to exploit the world more or less or not at all. And whether you want others to have to pay the price for your own convenience or whether you really need so much that the world cannot keep up with our consumption.
Politicians love to argue with science. And that our society is based on scientific knowledge. And the decisions of politics would take these scientific findings as a basis. But on a great many subjects, science is completely ignored. The scientist who says the “right thing” is seen and taken seriously. What fits into the party program and what the party can expect of the guarantors. So that they are not torn out of their comfortable routine and end up choosing "wrong" for the next choice. There is a very short-term planning, because there are elections every 4 years.
The fortunes of our world urgently need decisions whose positive effect we will notice over a longer period of time. Everyone is different and everyone must have a task that suits them. The whole diversity enriches life and makes our society rich and worth living in. Our ideal would be a world in which the market and the range of products and services are in the hands of many small companies. It's just not nice what the system is doing right now, namely that one small company after another has to give up and is swallowed up by a few large companies. Unfortunately this is not in the hands of the small businesses. If consumers decide to drink their coffee at Starbucks and not in the little bar next door, then the variety doesn't stand a chance. Diversity means space for many people and not just for those who fit into the image of a large corporation. Because that means that a large part of the people is excluded from society. Many people are suddenly no longer allowed to participate because they are of the wrong age, origin or appearance. We think that's terrible and we see our dog chewing bones from the inclusive workshop as a symbol for this attitude. Of course, we are always especially happy when these dog snacks are ordered from us and our attitude spread out into the world. Then we feel understood.
