With us a lot changes but actually nothing changes. The escape to the front. Our shop / workshop in Madrid.
We started with hundsfutter in Siegen in NRW with our small inclusive workshop. We were lucky with the team and were just able to do very nice things. And very good things. And many people have accepted our products and keep buying them and recommending us to others. Luckily. Our wish to contribute to a healthy, fair, sustainable lifestyle with our own work has come true.
Nevertheless, the pressure of the system of our “cheap at any price society” is so great that it is not easy for us and we have to row quite a bit. As a result, the second pillar for everything we do, work in and from Madrid, continues to be very important. Due to Corona and the general economic development, the team had to work in Siegen work a lot alone. It has become too stressful.
First we outsourced the shipping with a warehouse in Madrid, which reduced the stress a little. But unfortunately a colleague is ill for a long time, so we have now expanded the warehouse in Madrid to include a workshop and a shop. This means we can go to two places next year hundsfutter do. The stress in Siegen is lower and with Madrid we can absorb bottlenecks and deliver faster again. In addition, the orders from Spain and France have increased recently and of course we are in the right place here.
We are in very good company in Spain. Quite different from the prejudice, there are a lot of animal lovers in Spain, uncompromising animal lovers and the vegan lifestyle is already very widespread in Madrid and Barcelona. We have not yet heard comments like: "... my dog is not a cow!"
There are more and more sustainable projects.
Organic farming is also on the advance. Despite the prevailing opinion, there are organic mills, which are operated with solar power, to small regional organic farmers and organic shops with a wide range of vegetable protein alternatives. There are even its own Spanish brand that produces these protein meat substitute products. And these are then even packed in a box without plastic (at least for the deep-frozen version).
In the next year we will expand our team so that we also have an inclusive workshop here. By working in the shop with shop windows and public traffic, the idea of inclusion is much more visible than before. We are very happy about that, because it is important to us.
So we have an exciting year ahead of us. We get the chance to grow and improve our presence in the market. Because then we can become more independent. In the end, it is a very important part of our project to prove that fair, inclusive and vegan is also economical. This is the only way we can provide long-term support for a healthy, fair, sustainable lifestyle.
Our new shop / workshop is a space to share our ideals. There are conversations, questions and encounters with a large number of people from all over the world. We want to make it possible to experience here within our framework that doing differently brings a lot of good things with it. We want to give an impetus to make the values of sustainability and fairness important for more people. In all areas of life, we want to advocate a healthy, fair, sustainable lifestyle.
And what doesn’t change:
The hundsfutter the care with which we make our products will not change. And the quality of the ingredients and the end product. The fact that we develop and test the new recipes for our vegan, healthy dog snacks, treats, purees, menus and snacks carefully and over time will not change either. And the customer friendliness, flexibility and proximity with which we process every order and fulfill every extra request or at least as far as we can, will not change either.
It also remains that the well-coordinated ingredients and recipes are analyzed in the specialist laboratory, as always, so that we can list the composition and ingredients exactly on the label. Because transparency and honesty are the basis of everything for us. Just like fairness, environmental protection, animal welfare of all animals, climate protection. We are convinced that the right to life is paramount and must be respected. And that NOBODY has the right to do business at the cost of life. Social return takes precedence over economic return. The possession of everyone, nature, the water, the sea, the sun and the universe, the air, the biodiversity and the right to grow the seeds of plants without paying to a corporation are absolutely inviolable.
We are also always trying out something new and expanding and enriching our offer, because through contact with more and more dog owners, we get important information about the wishes and needs of the various dogs. In many cases, a new product has emerged from such a question or suggestion. That is really very nice, because we want to be there for people with their dogs. We want to support people in their pursuit of a conscious, healthy, fair, sustainable lifestyle. We do everything with the same motivation as our customers - because it is clear to us that only fairness, sustainable action, conscious, moderate consumption and an openness to necessary changes are the way out of the impasse in which humanity is stuck.
In the end, the good will win.
We just don't stop hoping that the good will prevail. We are concerned with a healthy, fair, sustainable lifestyle. Every day more people recognize the value of real values and every day more people decide to consume consciously and fairly. More and more people are reducing their meat consumption and the number of convinced vegans is constantly growing.
And even more and more of the powerful are realizing that they too are vulnerable and that there is no escape for anyone. When the tipping point of people and the world has been reached. If you just can't do it anymore, if you just can't do it anymore, then the drowning people drag the rest with them into ruin. And without the support of earth, it will also be gloomy for the few inconsiderate people who have then allowed themselves to be frozen or are on their way to a new world in space. Because in the end we are all Earthlings and they need the earth to live.

The whole article lets you see things as clearly as they have been for a long time, but a strange agony has spread. Because if a person who is involved in the topic, who deals with it every day and has already changed some things in his life and maybe already does some things right, is still frightened, then the article is really good. Then this article can induce healthy activism. . Because the rigidity in which so many people find themselves takes the momentum out of the many positive initiatives.
Because we are optimists and believe that we will make it, we want to help turn this “should” into a “will” in the quote above.
Everything we do should encourage others to get involved in sustainability and fairness. We want to show that there is another way. We admit it is not easy. But we are enthusiastic about what you get when you get involved with the “other” and simply don't do everything the way it was done in the past or how it might be sensible and economical in the short term. Because only with a healthy, fair, sustainable lifestyle can we get out of the Crisis.
