What I just don't understand is why he can't see the connection between his little daughter's future and his own consumer behavior. And that he missed a chance with the cow milk in his coffee that his little daughter would have enough water to live on later. Something is going really wrong in our heads right now. Because when we consciously direct our consumer money, the most amazing things happen. This can be seen very nicely in the development of the range of vegan foods in the supermarket. The increasing demand motivates more and more corporations to invest in these products and there are always new opportunities for you vegan lifestyle. I also remember the first vegan patties and tofu blocks very well. You really had to want the vegan lifestyle, it wasn't delicious yet.
In any case, it is very gratifying how the diverting of the money from the sausage counter to the tofu shelf has made a difference. And now there are great ways to get by without meat. It's a shame it took so long.
